Adam is a senior producer and assistant director of our production department and has worked with GMMB in the film and video/broadcast department for over 20 years. He has broad experience domestically and internationally in all aspects of film and video production. His cutting edge approach to editing and visual design results in award-winning work that engages audiences in issue and political campaigns.

Aimee is a skilled creative strategist with more than 15 years of experience crafting communications that change perceptions and behavior to promote social good. Her broad skills and varied capabilities have helped take her across numerous creative and strategic roles within GMMB—and around the world. She most recently provided account leadership, creative guidance and brand strategy to a wide spectrum of clients, including the American Heart Association, the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, Visa, The Lancet and the World Bank.

Aimee has enjoyed many years at GMMB. After joining in 1999, she left in 2003 to pursue a master’s degree at the Harvard School of Public Health. Upon completing her degree, she returned to GMMB until 2008, when she moved with her family to Mozambique. Aimee spent nearly six years living and working there, providing communications counsel to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and FHI 360’s Capable Partners Program before returning to D.C. and GMMB in 2013, where she’s here to stay.

AJ has developed strategies and award-winning advertising for leading environmental organizations, major foundations and labor unions, as well as mayoral, House, Senate, gubernatorial and presidential races in the U.S. and abroad. He is currently part of the creative and strategic team helping former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in her run for the White House. Most recently, AJ led the firm’s work for VoteVets, one of America’s top veteran’s advocacy groups. His work was featured in Time Magazine, USA Today and The Washington Post. In 2012, AJ was part of the core creative team that re-elected the President of the United States. One of the ads AJ wrote and produced for President Obama was awarded “Best Television Advertisement Of 2012” by Campaigns and Elections Magazine. In addition to his domestic work, AJ has served GMMB clients overseas as well. He’s worked on campaigns in Nigeria, the United Arab Emirates as well as Tirana, Albania, where he lead the advertising and media efforts for the Lulzim Basha for Mayor Campaign, which earned GMMB the American Association of Political Consultants’ Campaign Excellence Award for International Campaign of the Year.

Alison is one of the nation’s leading communications experts on health and health care policy. She manages an unparalleled team of health care communications strategists working on complex health issues including implementation of the Affordable Care Act, the prevention of childhood obesity, Medicaid expansion, protecting Medicare and Social Security, and health and hospital system communications.

Alison is a featured speaker on health care messaging and communications and a consultant to some of the major players in the health care community including foundations, federal and state governments, trade associations, hospital and health care systems, and advocacy organizations.

Alison is a communications strategist, campaign manager and partnership builder who revels in the challenge of distilling complex health issues into easy-to-understand concepts and messages. For more than a decade, Alison has worked with some of the nation’s leading foundations, non-profits, associations, and state agencies to help change behaviors and improve lives.

From her work with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to help states implement coverage provisions of the Affordable Care Act and uncover motivations and barriers among the uninsured and newly enrolled, to her work with Missouri Foundation for Health to help communities increase access to healthy foods and physical activities to address childhood obesity, Alison provides strategic counsel to clients looking to increase access to healthcare and improve the health of our nation.

Allison is an account planner and data enthusiast who focuses on inspiring smart strategy and breakthrough campaigns with meaningful audience insights. She’s skilled in shaping traditional and new research methods—from focus groups and surveys to ethnographies and social listening—to identify audiences, understand motivations and uncover new opportunities.

Allison’s work has engaged audiences for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau by identifying key financial moments and needs, sparked creative strategy for the Women’s Heart Alliance’s Fight the Ladykiller campaign by identifying women’s deeply held beliefs around heart disease, and informed development of the United Nations Foundation’s Girl Up campaign by putting U.S. teens at the center of global girls’ empowerment.

As the firm’s strategic planning and research team lead, Allison’s work spans situation analysis, strategic communications planning, audience identification, concept and materials testing, and benchmarking and evaluation studies.

A senior leader of GMMB’s global health practice, Alyson has 20 years of experience in strategic communications, issue-based advocacy and social marketing, with expertise in strategy development and campaign management. A strategic, forward-thinking consultant, Alyson has executed advocacy and communications campaigns on a broad range of issues including the environment, health and public safety, and global health and development.

Alyson tackles large-scale initiatives that are ambitious in scope, particularly in the areas of maternal, newborn and child health, nutrition and malaria. Whether successfully advocating for longer paid maternity leave in Viet Nam or elevating the issue of early child nutrition on the global agenda, Alyson creates on point, evidence-based strategies that connect the dots between what motivates opinion leaders to act and the positive change we seek to achieve.
