We’d like to thank the Academy (of Digital Arts and Sciences)!

GMMB has been recognized as an Official Honoree in the Activism category for the 16th Annual Webby Awards for its work on ThousandDays.org. The annual Webbys, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, honor excellence in website design and development.
GMMB worked with the 1,000 Days partnership to design and develop ThousandDays.org as a tool to advance global efforts to improve maternal and child nutrition during the critical 1,000 day window of opportunity between a woman’s pregnancy and her child’s second birthday. Since its launch in June 2011, the site and the partnership’s social media networks have become a hub of information for the nutrition community.
GMMB is one of 12 Official Honorees in the Activism category. This year, the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences named Official Honorees to recognize the top 10 percent of entries that were not selected as Nominees.
Instead of a tearful thank you speech (You like us! You really like us!), we’d just like to say thanks to the Academy. We’re proud to be among the important issues and great teams on the Official Honoree list. GMMB’s global health and digital teams are excited about this recognition and it means even more that it is for helping an issue that we’re so committed to.
