NOT Up for Debate

Posted on Mar 09, 2012

Reproductive rights have recently been the focus of a lot of attention, as national leaders push for drastic cuts to insurance coverage for contraception, and state legislatures vote on bills requiring a woman to have a mandatory, unnecessary and invasive ultrasound before an abortion.

In order to raise awareness about the escalating assault on women’s access to reproductive health care, the National Women’s Law Center launched their new campaign—My Health Is Not Up For Debate—with a video to mobilize women.

The video, “Hurdles” illustrates that the restrictions being passed—92 in 2011—will dramatically limit women’s access to reproductive health services.

Check out the video below, or visit the National Women’s Law Center for more information. Your health is NOT up for debate!
