GMMB Wins Seven ADDY Awards, Including Best of Show
Posted on Mar 16, 2012
GMMB won seven awards at last night's DC 2012 ADDY Awards, which is the world’s largest advertising competition representing creative excellence from all forms of media.
GMMB’s unique, eye-catching “WireLESS” sculptures, created on behalf of CTIA-The Wireless Association, won the biggest award of the night – Best of Show. Recognized as the most creative, stimulating work submitted, the “WireLESS” sculptures were placed in Reagan National Airport and Union Station in Washington, D.C. to tell policymakers the amazing story of how wireless technology helps us do more while consuming less: less wiring, less printing, less driving, less wasting.
GMMB also won awards on behalf of the American Lung Association for their TV spot “Secondhand Smog”, which energized voters to stand up for clean air protections; and the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption for their video “Unadoptable is Unacceptable”, which combats the misconceptions that some children in foster care are unadopotable.
Congratulations to each of our winning clients for their hard work and the opportunity to help advance their brands, issues and causes that truly work to create real and lasting change in the world.
