| Mark L. Zuckerman
Mark Zuckerman, vice president and senior producer, joined GMMB in January 2002. With an extensive background in production, law and public policy, Mark produces issue advertising and films for such clients as the Save Darfur Coalition, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Novo Nordisk, U.S. Department of Agriculture, New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, and numerous political clients. He is an accomplished field producer; Avid editor; and supervisor of film transfers, edits, audio mixes and on-air graphics.
Prior to joining GMMB, Mark ran his own production company, Bedrock Productions, in Washington, D.C. He produced, directed and edited films on behalf of the Discovery Channel, AFL-CIO, SEIU, UNITE and the History Factory.
A graduate of the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, D.C., Mark worked as an attorney for six years before transitioning to production-related work. From 1993-1996, he worked in the area of human rights and refugee law, serving as regional director for Legal Assistance for Vietnamese Asylum Seekers (LAVAS), based in Hong Kong. In addition, he spent three years as an associate for Jones, Day, Reavis and Pogue in Washington, D.C., specializing in corporate law and litigation. Mark also worked on campaign finance reform issues for Citizens Against PACs, based in Washington, D.C.
Mark lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife, Ann, and their son, Theo. |
