Jeff Valliere

Jeff Valliere, a vice president, has been with GMMB for more than eight years. He has provided communications counsel to clients such as America's Health Insurance Plans (formerly the American Association of Health Plans), AARP, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Novo Nordisk, and Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). He has also provided interactive communications strategy services to clients such as the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's CoverTheUninsuredWeek.org, which is focused on communicating the issues of the uninsured to consumer and activist audiences; AspiringDocs.org, a site sponsored by AAMC to raise awareness about the need for more diversity in medicine; and DiabetesXChange.org, an information-rich clearinghouse for cutting-edge diabetes-related initiatives.

In addition to his experience in health policy communications and advocacy, Jeff has spearheaded high-profile media events and has placed an array of stories in national, regional and local media.

In 2003, Jeff worked for then House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to build an integrated online communications program for the Democratic caucus and leadership in the U.S. House of Representatives. He led the strategic planning, development and launch of the caucus' first-ever interactive, issues-based Web site.

After getting his start in radio, Jeff worked for the Democratic Governors Association and served as a field producer at the 2000 Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles.

Jeff graduated from the University of New Hampshire and lives in Alexandria, Va.
