Allison Thomas

Allison Thomas, vice president, joined GMMB in 2000. She offers clients expertise in developing integrated public education and awareness campaigns that reach audiences through a variety of traditional and new media. Allison’s work has touched all aspects of the firm’s capabilities in strategic communications; Web development; grassroots organizing; and print, television and radio production.

Currently, Allison provides strategic counsel, Web development and media outreach to Public Education Network’s Give Kids Good Schools campaign, a five-year national campaign to engage more Americans in the critical work of improving public schools. Allison oversaw creative and content development for GiveKidsGoodSchools.org and currently directs the campaign’s online outreach and advocacy efforts.

Allison has also helped clients including the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and American Cancer Society’s Cancer Action Network roll out new identities through the development of strategic marketing and communications plans. Other clients have included the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Blue Cross & Blue Shield Association, Corporation for National and Community Service, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Allison is a native of Cape Cod, Mass., and a graduate of Bucknell University.
