Traci Siegel

Traci Siegel, vice president, joined GMMB in 2006. She brings nearly 15 years of integrated strategic planning, field organizing, coalition building, project management and political communications experience to the firm.

Currently, Traci manages the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Covering Kids & Families Back-to-School Campaign, a nationwide, multimillion dollar initiative to connect eligible families with low-cost and free health care coverage through Medicaid and the State Children’s Health Insurance Program.

Prior to joining GMMB, Traci ran her own consulting practice specializing in providing strategic counsel and campaign design and management services to political and issue advocacy organizations. In this capacity, she authored two campaign manuals for aspiring political candidates. She also started and managed Progressive Majority’s Candidate Recruitment Program, the nation’s first multimillion dollar effort to recruit and train progressives to run for state and local office.

From 1999 to 2003, Traci served at the Democratic National Committee as executive director of the DNC Women’s Leadership Forum, executive director of the DNC Women’s Vote Center, and most recently as DNC political director. Traci also served as executive director of Maryland NARAL and state legislative aide for the Motion Picture Association of America, Inc.

Traci holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications, law, economics and government from American University.
