| Julie Moriarty
Julie Moriarty, a vice president at GMMB, joined the firm in February 2001. She offers clients expertise in developing integrated marketing communications plans, conducting strategic research initiatives, and implementing national media outreach campaigns.
Julie currently provides strategic communications counsel for the H. John Heinz III Center for Science, Economics and the Environment; the Corporation for National and Community Service; and National Adoption Day. A media outreach specialist, Julie has secured placements in Parade magazine, USA Today, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune and NPR’s “Morning Edition.”
Julie managed research initiatives for the Catholic Health Association and the James B. Hunt, Jr. Institute for Educational Leadership and Policy, and provided strategic communications counsel to Faith in Action, a program of The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Recently, she managed the development and execution of a television, radio and print public service announcement campaign that resulted in media placements valued at nearly $3 million.
Prior to joining GMMB, Julie worked in the public affairs office at the Environmental Protection Agency’s regional office in Chicago. While there she managed the environmental education regional grants program, coordinated the President’s Environmental Youth Award program, and developed Web sites.
Julie holds a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from Northwestern University, and a bachelor’s degree in American civilization and Spanish from Middlebury College. |
