Jim is a senior producer and vice president at GMMB, with a background in filmmaking and public service. He has over 12 years of experience in film and television and has created award-winning work both for the firm's clients and for leading documentary film companies.

Since joining the firm in 2000, Jim has produced films and issue ads for clients including the Corporation for National Service, Novo Nordisk, League of Conservation Voters, America's Health Insurance Plans and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Jim specializes in producing short documentaries. Recently, he wrote, produced, directed and edited a film for the Federal Trade Commission as part of a national campaign to raise awareness about identity theft. Currently, he is working on a film for the Save Darfur Coalition.

Prior to joining GMMB, Jim worked in documentary film production. His credits include "Alaska Challenge" and the series "Treasure Seekers" for National Geographic Television, and "A Place in the Land," the Academy Award-nominated documentary by four-time Academy Award winner Charles Guggenheim.

During President Bill Clinton's first term, Jim served as special assistant in the White House Office of National Service. He is former Ironman triathlete and has a special passion for the outdoors and the environment. A native Washingtonian, Jim received his bachelor's degree in political science from George Washington University.
