| Anson Kaye
Anson Kaye, vice president, brings over 10 years of political, campaign and communications experience to GMMB. Currently, Anson provides strategic counsel to a mix of corporate, nonprofit and political clients.
Anson leads the firm’s work on behalf of Cisco Systems and the Partnership for Lebanon, a multinational effort initiated by the White House and spearheaded by American business leaders that is designed to encourage growth and stability in Lebanon. Anson also plays a central role in the Credit Union National Association’s efforts to shape financial services policy-making on Capitol Hill and is advising a major climate change policy campaign.
On the political side, Anson counsels candidates for the House and the Senate, as well as for mayor and governor, in some of the nation’s most closely watched races.
Prior to joining GMMB, Anson served as senior policy advisor to Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle and as communications director on Governor Doyle’s hard fought and successful 2006 re-election campaign, the first time a Democrat had been re-elected as governor of Wisconsin in the last 32 years.
Anson also served as chief of staff and communications director for Representative Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.). He was senior advisor and communications director on Weiner’s run for mayor of New York City in 2005.
Anson holds a B.A. from Brandeis University and a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School. |
