| Erin Howard
Erin Howard, vice president, joined GMMB in 2006, bringing to the firm significant experience in campaign management, electoral and issue advocacy, communications strategy, and grassroots organizing.
Currently, Erin serves as the account manager for Mothers Against Drunk Driving, providing ongoing strategic communications counsel to the organization. She also works with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, managing the audit and research components of the Foundation’s efforts to improve the quality of health care that racially and ethnically diverse patients receive in the United States.
Prior to joining GMMB, Erin coordinated multiple health care campaigns for the Service Employees International Union’s Americans for Health Care project, overseeing successful political, legislative and media strategies in several states across the country. Between 2003 and 2004, she managed campaigns in both Georgia and Rhode Island, where she directed voter registration drives and executed field and communications plans to successfully pass health care reform legislation. Erin also served several years as a political analyst with the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, where she provided strategic analysis and coordinated independent expenditure campaigns on federal- and state-level races around the gun safety issue.
Erin is originally from Lakeville, Mass., and holds a Bachelor of Arts in international relations from American University.
