| Alison Betty Volz
Alison Betty Volz, a senior vice president at GMMB, brings over 15 years of experience in corporate and organizational partnerships, grassroots organizing, event planning, and public relations to the team. She joined GMMB in 2002.
Currently, Alison manages the firm's work with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s health care coverage campaigns. These efforts include Cover the Uninsured Week, a weeklong, annual effort to elevate the issue of the uninsured on the national agenda and in communities nationwide, and the Covering Kids & Families Back-to-School Campaign, a program that helps connect eligible families with low-cost and free health care coverage.
Alison's past work includes fundraising for Representative Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.), and corporate partnership development, grassroots organizing and event planning at Share Our Strength, a leading anti-hunger organization. She directed corporate partnerships and business development at Foodfit.com, a food and nutrition Web site, and the National Campaign Against Youth Violence, an outgrowth of the 2000 White House Conference on Youth Violence. She volunteers for organizations dealing with health care, hunger relief and AIDS research.
Alison holds a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University in Bloomington. |
