| David M. Tobey
Dave Tobey is a senior vice president and creative director at GMMB. During his career, he has created advertising for a broad range of national clients, including Verizon, Sears and many others. His work has included everything from top-line branding campaigns to the development of direct response, collateral and interactive materials. Dave also has a great deal of production experience, having shot dozens of commercials on location around the world.
Since joining GMMB in 2002, Dave has developed numerous advertising campaigns for key clients, including the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, America’s Health Insurance Plans, New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, and the District of Columbia’s Lifelong Learning Initiative. Currently, Dave manages creative development for the Save Darfur Coalition, California Anti-Meth Initiative, MADD, American Beverage Association, and Vermont Office of Health Access. For each of these accounts, he is responsible for top-level strategic planning, supervision of creative teams and processes, and oversight of all production and post-production work from start to finish.
Dave has more than 12 years of experience in advertising, all of them in the creative department. Prior to joining GMMB, he spent six years as a copywriter at various Chicago agencies, most recently at a division of Ogilvy & Mather.
Originally from Massachusetts, Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in communications studies from Northwestern University. |
