Kaia Lenhart

Kaia Lenhart is a senior vice president at GMMB. She brings over 15 years of communications, public affairs and political consulting experience to the firm, including expertise in strategic communications planning, campaign management, faith-based outreach and fundraising.

Kaia currently leads the firm’s expanding portfolio of global health work. In this capacity, she serves as a senior strategic advisor to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, United Nations Foundation, and Pneumococcal Awareness Council of Experts (PACE). She has also served as a consultant to UNAIDS, Health Metrics Network and World Vision.

In addition, Kaia advises the firm’s clients on faith-based outreach and partnerships. For the past six years, she has served as the national interfaith director for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Cover the Uninsured initiative, a national public awareness and grassroots campaign to highlight the plight of the uninsured in America.

During her time at GMMB, Kaia has led several award-winning campaigns, including the 2006 UNAIDS Global Report, World Vision’s Hope Initiative to raise awareness about the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Africa among Evangelical Christians; Nothing But Nets, a global, grassroots campaign to prevent malaria in Africa; and projects for the Corporation for National and Community Service, Faith in Action, and the Better Safer World Campaign.

Kaia holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Montana.
