Kelly Carey

Kelly Carey is a senior vice president at GMMB. Kelly joined the firm in April 2000, bringing an extensive background in nonprofit grassroots organizing, fundraising, special events, and corporate and organizational partnership development.

Kelly works with Schwab Learning, a program of the Charles and Helen Schwab Foundation, to market two unique Web site resources that assist children with learning disabilities and learning differences and their parents; Ross Products Division of Abbott Laboratories to develop and implement an optimal infant nutrition education and outreach program; and The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to develop corporate partnerships for Covering Kids & Families, a national program to raise awareness of the availability of low-cost and free health care coverage programs through the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) and Medicaid.

Prior to joining GMMB, Kelly spent eight years at Share Our Strength (SOS), a national, nonprofit, anti-hunger organization. As director of field operations, Kelly managed SOS’s largest annual fundraising program, Taste of the Nation, raising more than $35 million to fight hunger and poverty. Kelly also worked closely with the program’s corporate sponsors, including American Express, Williams-Sonoma, Calphalon Cookware, and Evian Natural Spring Water. Internationally, she coordinated the development of a Taste of theNation franchise model in Australia.
